Ordering

How do I place an order?

It’s easy! Simply place an order via our website by clicking on our range at slogoodliving.com 

When do you deliver?

We accept orders on a weekly basis and deliver every Monday and Saturday morning. Please place your order by midday on the day before your chosen date to ensure you get your Slo Good nut m!lks on time. On the delivery day, we will let you know when your delivery is due to arrive within the hour.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order for those within our postcode areas. You can order just one bottle if you like! Our delivery charge is a flat £0.95 for all orders. 

Can I change my order?

If you'd like to make changes to your order, it is best to get in touch with us as soon as possible. Simply email us directly at info@sloHQ.com by midday on the day before your scheduled delivery date so we can make sure your order is changed in time for your scheduled delivery. 

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order and obtain a full refund, you can do this easily by emailing us at info@sloHQ.com by 1pm on the day before your scheduled delivery date. We can only accept cancellation requests from the person who placed the original order.

As we make all our Slo Good nut m!lks fresh, hours before delivery, we cannot cancel or provide refunds after this deadline. Thanks for understanding! 

I love your nut m!lks, how do I subscribe?

We do offer subscription packages for frequent customers, please email us to enquire. 

Can I find Slo Good nut m!lks anywhere else?

At present, you can only order Slo Good nut m!lks for delivery directly from us through our website but we are speaking with local businesses who are keen to showcase our nut m!lks in the future. Keep an eye on our social media channels or subscribe to us for updates! 

I want to order Slo Good nut m!lks for my business/company fridge, how do I do this?

We may be able to supply nut m!lks for your company. Please get in touch with us by email if you are interested. 

 

Delivery

What if I’m not in and wish to make alternative arrangements for delivery?

If you know you will not be in when we deliver, we offer two alternative delivery options:

  • We can leave your Slo Good delivery outside your front door. Please try to leave a cool bag or container packed with ice for us to deliver your nut m!lks into. It will help keep your nut m!lks as fresh and tasty as possible.
  • We can drop off your Slo Good delivery with either your next door neighbour or concierge. However, please make sure that whoever receives them are aware that the nut m!lks can spoil if left at room temperature and must be refrigerated immediately on arrival. We just want to be sure your Slo Good nut m!lks stay as fresh as possible!

If you would like for us to use either of these options for delivery, please let us know when you are ordering - there is a text box for you to enter details.

If you realise after you have ordered that you will not be in and would like to make alternative delivery arrangements, then drop us an email or SMS (on your order confirmation email) as soon as possible.

If you are not in and have not provided advance notice of alternative delivery instructions (as above), we will leave your nut m!lks as close to your front door as possible.

Slo Good nut m!lks must be kept refrigerated at all times. We will deliver them chilled and of course remind you to refrigerate the nut m!lks when we deliver them. Unfortunately, once they have been delivered, we cannot take responsibility if you are not in and your nut m!lks spoil or go missing. 

Which postcodes are you delivering to?

As we make our nut m!lks fresh in small batches and deliver them ourselves, we are currently only serving specific postcodes in London: SW3, SW7, SW14, TW9, W4, W5, W8, W11, W13 and W14. We will be looking to expand our delivery area soon! If you are interested in trying our nut m!lks but are in a different postcode, do email us and we'll see what we can do! 

Is there a delivery charge?

We currently deliver to the following postcodes: SW3, SW7, SW14, TW9, W4, W5, W8, W11, W13, W14 and charge a flat rate of £0.95 for delivery.

 

Storage and shelf life

How long do Slo Good nut m!lks last for?

Slo Good nut m!lks are made fresh without any additional flavourings or additives and are unpasteurised so they have a limited shelf life. The use by date is 7 days from when you receive the nut m!lk. If kept in a cold fridge at all times they could last longer. However, if left out at room temperature, they will spoil more quickly than that. You will find a use by date at the bottom of each of our glass bottles.

Please make sure the nut m!lks stay in the fridge as much as possible.

Is it normal for Slo Good nut m!lks to separate?

Yes! Unlike store-bought counterparts, our fresh nut m!lks are made without any thickening or stabilising agents, so nutty bits will naturally settle to the bottom with time. Our nut m!lks are minimally filtered to give you the maximum goodness from the nuts. If you prefer a smoother texture, simply pour without shaking, alternatively, if you like a more nutty texture, give the bottle a good shake before serving. Everyone will have their own preference!

 

Allergies and health

If I have an allergy can I buy your drinks?

If you or anyone in your household has an allergy to nuts or any food products we recommend you do not purchase or consume our products without speaking to your doctor first. All SLO GOOD LIVING products are made on premises that handles a variety of nuts and seeds. Although we make every effort to avoid cross-contamination we cannot guarantee that our products are free from other nuts and seeds.

Pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant or breast feeding we recommend you do not purchase or consume our products without speaking to your doctor first. All SLO GOOD LIVING products are made on premises that handles a variety of nuts and seeds. Although we make every effort to avoid cross-contamination we cannot guarantee that our products are free from other nuts and seeds.

 

Glass bottles and recycling

Why do you use glass bottles?

Using glass is more environmentally sustainable than plastic. Plastic is recycled to produce or be incorporated into different materials (e.g. carpet) so when plastic is recycled, it actually gets “downcycled” to different materials rather than recycled back into the same type of plastic. Glass, on the other hand can be fully recycled back into glassware.

Can I recycle my glass bottle?

Our bottles use recycled glass and are also fully recyclable. If you do not wish to keep your glass bottles (they do make excellent vases!), then please remember to recycle them (without the caps). We are looking at ways of allowing our customers to return their bottles to us for re-use or recycling in the future. We will provide social media updates for when this happens.

 

Complaints and feedback

Who should I contact if there’s a problem with my order?

If you should discover any problems with your order please let us know immediately by email with the batch number and expiry date (found at the bottom of each bottle) and we will do our best to rectify the problem or provide a refund (excluding delivery charge) as soon as possible if we have made a mistake with your order.

We reserve the right not to refund or replace your purchase if you do not inform us of problems as soon as possible.
